The Sensory Senior Practitioner oversees the team's daily operations, offering line management support to staff. They also collaborate with partner organisations, community services, and internal teams to ensure that clients needing help and rehabilitation for hearing or sight impairment receive appropriate and timely support.  

The position holder is responsible for budget oversight and customer feedback with support from senior management.

The Sensory Service is a small team within the Care and Wellbeing Directorate for Adult Social Services.
