Occupational Therapist (Children)
Our primary role within the Children’s Occupational Therapy team is to promote independence and safety for children and their families in their own homes and their local community within Shropshire. This is carried out through assessment, partnerships and collaborative working with health, housing, the private and independent sectors.
You must have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
You must have an enthusiasm and interest in working with children with disabilities; and in completing Occupational Therapy assessments for specialist equipment and major and minor adaptations within a community environment.
