Enable is a section within Shropshire Council which supports people into education, training and employment. 

We have a team of contracted and casual employment support workers within Enable who support people with disabilities into employment and related activities. This involves job coaching people entering employment or supporting them to develop skills required for independent travel. It also involves developing a wide range of positive relationships with employers, employment services and social care and health services across Shropshire.

We are now looking to appoint a new casual employment support worker into the team.

Casual staff have no obligation to pick up any referrals, but we would of course want to appoint people who are flexible and will be committed to providing a few hours of support per week and regularly where possible.

The post holder will work on their own supporting people in the community or possibly in hospital settings where our job coaches support young adults in placements.
