The Revenues and Benefits Service provides vital statutory services to the Council in the assessment and collection of Council Tax and Business Rates and assessment and payment of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.
This is a challenging but rewarding role in a really busy environment. Key is the accurate billing of council tax accounts, ensuring we minimise duplicate customer contact and failure demand, getting the right information at point of contact, and ensuring we send the correct bill first time.
You must be a great communicator and be able to provide immediate, accurate and professional responses through all customer interactions.
